The JHM R Series Clutch Kit is engineered for the Audi S4 B6 (2003-2005) and B7 (2005.5-2009) models equipped with the 4.2l V8 40v engine. This kit is designed to significantly increase torque holding capacity, with a stated 43% increase over the stock B7-RS4 pressure plate. Additionally, it offers an approximately 25% increase in clutch pedal stiffness, providing better control and modulation during engagement. You can select from three distinct clutch disc materials to suit your driving needs. The Stage 1 R clutch disc provides a balance between daily driveability and torque capacity. For enhanced performance, the Stage 3 R disc offers a combination of driveability, torque holding, and durability for aggressive driving. The most aggressive option is the Stage 5 R, a 6-puck ceramic disc designed for extreme power handling, currently used in JHM's own B7-RS4 and a record-setting customer vehicle. This clutch kit includes the JHM R Series pressure plate, your chosen JHM R Series Clutch Disc, pressure plate to flywheel bolts, a throwout bearing, and a clutch alignment tool. Proper break-in is crucial for all R Series Clutch Discs, requiring 500 miles of city driving without aggressive acceleration or heat buildup. Avoid racing, launching, or hard driving during this period.
