R Series Twin Disc Clutch Kit

The Monster Clutch Co. R Series is a high-performance twin-disc clutch system engineered specifically for track use in 2005-2013 Chevrolet C6 models, excluding ZR1. By utilizing a modified factory-style pressure plate and proprietary sintered friction discs, this kit provides a reliable, clean release for high-horsepower engines up to 1100 RWHP/RWTQ. Each unit includes a 24lb billet steel flywheel and is balanced to less than 0.100 OZ/IN to ensure precision and stability up to 8000 RPM. This clutch is intended for dedicated track performance and is not recommended for daily street driving. Drivers should expect an aggressive, high-effort pedal feel and significant chatter or shudder during initial take-off, which is common in racing-grade twin-disc systems. These characteristics become more pronounced if paired with a lightened flywheel assembly. Proper installation and break-in are required to achieve the expected race-car engagement. Please note that using an aftermarket master cylinder will further increase pedal effort and shrink the engagement window. The kit ships complete with the clutch assembly, sintered discs, 24lb billet steel flywheel, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and necessary hardware.
