This kit significantly increases the clutch count from the stock 11 for 3.0t engines or 13 for 4.0t engines, to a robust 15. This substantial increase in clutch count directly translates to improved power handling capacity and enhanced performance, allowing for more aggressive driving and modifications. This clutch upgrade is specifically designed for Audi models equipped with the 3.0t or 4.0t engines and utilizes clutch basket part numbers 0B5141030E or 0B5141030F that feature a 103mm - 81 tooth oil pump gear. For owners with a B8 RS4-RS5 clutch basket (PN 0B5141030G) and a 96mm - 75 tooth oil pump gear, JH Motorsports offers the JHM-0B5141030G-R15 clutch upgrade for optimal fitment and performance. For optimal results and to achieve the kit's full torque-holding capacity of 850-900 ft-lbs, JH Motorsports highly recommends pairing this clutch upgrade with their JHM TCU tune or any other TCU tune that increases clamp pressure to 20+ bar. This is crucial for minimizing clutch slip and overheating, allowing you to fully unleash your vehicle's potential. Post-installation, adaptation for clutch kiss points should be performed once the transmission reaches 40°C, following factory installation procedures.
