The Toyota R154 transmission is a brand-new, 5-speed manual gearbox equipped with a factory tripod shifter and sensor. Designed for performance-oriented Toyota builds, this unit serves as an ideal solution for manual transmission conversions in vehicles like the JZX100. Please note that this unit does NOT include a speedo gear; if your specific vehicle setup does not require a mechanical or electrical speedo output, a freeze plug is available to block the port. Additionally, essential components such as the speedo gear, clutch fork, clutch hub, 1JZ flywheel, 1JZ/7M clutch, transmission mount, bell housing to block bolt set, and slave cylinder are all sold separately. Regarding fitment nuance, please be aware that the original tripod shift lever does NOT fit if you are using an aftermarket billet retainer housing. While an optional short shifter for the MK3 Supra is available to fit that specific adapter, it is an additional cost. The transmission is offered with an option to purchase without the 1JZ bell housing for a price reduction. Due to the weight of the assembly, shipping is restricted to the US lower 48 states via ground shipping.
