R2-S65C 6.5" Component Speaker Set

The Alpine R2-S65C Next-Generation R-Series is a 6.5-inch component speaker set designed to elevate your car audio with crisp highs, rich mids, and deep lows. These speakers are Hi-Res Audio Certified, inspired by Alpine's Ultra-High-Resolution systems, and can reproduce frequencies up to 40kHz for a sound experience that brings you closer to the original source. Constructed with a lightweight and rigid glass fiber-reinforced cone, the R2-S65C achieves extreme movement and low distortion for exceptionally clean playback. The High-Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) surround technology further enhances music reproduction by increasing excursions while maintaining linearity. The component system includes 1-inch magnesium hard-dome tweeters with a swivel-mount design and removable housing for flexible application and optimal listening positioning. The R2-S65C handles 100W RMS and 300W peak power, featuring a ferrite magnet structure and a larger motor for improved mid-bass performance. Despite the larger motor, the speaker depth is maintained for easy installation into many standard 6-3/4" applications. The set comes complete with two 6.5” mid-bass speakers, two 1” tweeters, grilles, and all necessary mounting hardware.
