R365 RED Ball Bearing Turbocharger

The RV6 R365 RED ball bearing turbocharger represents an upgrade for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T and 2017-2020 Civic Si. Building upon the R365 platform, this model incorporates a dual ceramic ball bearing system for significantly faster spool times, reportedly up to 400 RPM quicker than its predecessor. Construction includes a lightweight billet compressor wheel and an Inconel Alloy turbine wheel, chosen for their durability and performance characteristics. The turbo's design has been optimized using FEA (Finite Element Analysis). With a compressor inducer of 50.38mm and exducer of 68mm, and a turbine inducer of 47mm and exducer of 41.4mm with a 0.5 A/R, it is engineered for a direct drop-in fit. Proper lubrication is critical for this turbocharger's longevity. It requires a minimum engine oil viscosity of 0W-30 or 5W-30 due to the increased load on the ball bearings from higher boost pressures. This specification is mandatory for operation and warranty.
