The Peterson Fluid Systems 04-4000 is a 4-stage R4 dry sump oil pump designed for high-performance engines. This unit features a patent-pending twisted 4-lobe rotor design, which provides efficient oil pressure while generating vacuum to help free up engine horsepower.

The Peterson Fluid Systems 04-4000 is a 4-stage R4 dry sump pump engineered for high-demand racing engines. It utilizes a patent-pending twisted 4-lobe rotor design constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, which maintains consistent oil pressure and flow rates. This design specifically creates internal vacuum to minimize parasitic loss, effectively freeing up additional engine horsepower. This bellhousing-mount pump includes 1.2-inch scavenge rotors and a 1.4-inch standard pressure rotor. The pump comes standard with a rear drive feature, allowing for the attachment of power steering pumps or combined power steering and fuel pump assemblies. For proper installation to the bellhousing, 14-0700 mount blades are required.
