R600 Cold Air Intake

The Racingline R600 Cold Air Intake is engineered as a sophisticated and high-performance upgrade for MQB-platform EA888 engines. This intake system boasts a significantly enlarged airbox that encloses a substantial TriFoam triple-layer air filter. Its design incorporates twin front air intakes, drawing air from both sides of the car's front panel, which allows it to support up to 600bhp by substantially improving mass airflow to the turbocharger. The R600 utilizes a high-flow TriFoam air filter, which increases surface area and dust capacity. This larger filter provides lower restriction and ensures a constant supply of cool air to the engine, offering headroom for future performance upgrades. The system is designed to reduce turbo lag by nearly 500 RPM, leading to faster turbo response and improved drivability and torque across the rev range. Expect enhanced horsepower and torque above 4,500rpm, with a more direct throttle response. Constructed from the same PU material as original factory components, the airbox offers excellent heat-insulating properties to prevent heat soak and maintain cooler intake air temperatures.
