The RV6 R660 RED is a ball-bearing turbocharger designed to provide a robust performance upgrade for 2.0T engines. Engineered to overcome the limitations of the factory TD04 format, this unit replaces the smaller housing with a larger TD05 design to support higher power levels reliably. It utilizes 8mm dual ceramic ball bearings for improved response and includes a MAR-M Super Alloy turbine wheel capable of handling high thermal loads. Key specifications include a 0.81 A/R turbine housing, 54mm compressor inducer, and 67mm compressor exducer. The system features FEA-optimized blade designs and oversized -10AN coolant passages to manage operating temperatures effectively. Each unit includes necessary installation hardware, gaskets, a titanium stud set with safety wire, and an RV6 bypass valve. Proper installation requires an FK8 wastegate actuator. To ensure the 1-year warranty remains valid, users must adhere to strict engine oil requirements, using a minimum viscosity of 0W-30 or 5W-30. Failure to use the specified oil grade may result in the denial of warranty claims.
