It features the FD1600 Fusion race scanner, which replaces the Y1600 Elite model and offers improved functionality with a small size and fantastic reception. The scanner has 1,600 channels for frequencies between 450-470 MHz, allowing monitoring of various racing series including NASCAR, trucks, Indy, and local short tracks.

The package includes the RACEceiver scanner, rookie driver earbuds with three sizes of replaceable rubber tips for a custom fit and noise reduction, and a holster. The scanner utilizes a 3.5 mm jack for headset compatibility. The rookie earbuds are suitable for lower noise environments and other audio devices like iPods and MP3 players.
