The Takata Race 6 serves as a premium safety restraint system engineered for demanding competition environments. It is manufactured by Takata Racing (Europe) in Germany to meet strict FIA approval standards, ensuring reliable performance in high-stakes racing applications. Technically, the assembly consists of 3-inch shoulder belts paired with 2-inch lap belts featuring convenient pull-down adjusters that pull away from the central aluminum multi-point release cam-lock. The system utilizes a dual T-bar style anti-sub strap configuration to provide comprehensive driver retention. Installation flexibility is a core feature, as the lap and sub-straps arrive with Snap-On brackets for mounting to eyebolts. While the shoulder belts are designed for wrap mounting via integrated 3-bar adjusters, users may purchase additional Snap-On or Bolt-On bracket kits separately to adapt the mounting points to specific chassis requirements.
