Race Billet Short Throw Shifter w/ Poly Bearings

It features a robust billet lower box that completely replaces the OEM linkage assembly and is solely mounted to the transmission to ensure perfect alignment, even during hard shifts. The Race Spec shifter utilizes a hardened, ground linkage rod that operates on ultra-high-temperature poly bearings, providing exceptionally smooth shifting. Additionally, it incorporates sound and thermal shielding to maintain quiet and cool operation. Constructed from billet materials and CNC machined in the USA, this shifter boasts a "top loader" feel for a direct connection to the transmission. The design has been updated for 2016 to be more compact, fitting within the car's oval cutout when fully assembled. This streamlined installation process can shave up to 30 minutes off the typical time, benefiting both DIY installations and professional shop work. Support arms are equipped with optional interchangeable bushings, allowing for fine-tuning of performance and application. This shifter is compatible with all Mustangs from 2015 to the present, as well as 2011-2014 models, provided they are equipped with the MT-82 transmission. It is available for V8, V6, and EcoBoost engines. The MGW Race Spec shifter also offers various throw reduction options, with the X-SPEC model providing up to a 25% reduction in shift length compared to the stock shifter, and an available Low Profile handle can further enhance this reduction.
