The ACL Race 6B1140H-STD is a precision-engineered connecting rod bearing set, specifically designed for Mitsubishi 6G72, 6G72T, and 6G73 V6 engines. Each set includes 12 bearing halves, providing a robust solution for demanding motorsports applications. Constructed with a high-strength overlay plate and a hardened steel backing, these components offer enhanced fatigue properties and improved bearing retention in the housing. The design eliminates flash plating on the back of the bearings to maximize thermal conductivity and surface grip. Furthermore, the increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high speeds and supports the formation of hydrodynamic oil films, while enlarged ID chamfers accommodate the fillet radius of performance crankshafts.
