The ACL Race Series engine bearing kit provides a high-performance solution for the crankshaft and connecting rods of select Honda and Acura engines. This comprehensive kit includes standard size connecting rod bearings (P/N 4B1956H-STD), main bearings (P/N 5M1957H-STD), and thrust washers (P/N 1T1957-STD), all manufactured with a Trimetal construction. They feature a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness, hardened steel backs on all connecting rod bearings for increased durability, and an optimized design that includes increased crush and elimination of flash plating. The main bearings incorporate 3/4 grooving for enhanced oil supply, complemented by tight and consistent wall tolerances and oversized chamfers where beneficial. This specific kit is designed for the following Honda and Acura engines: 1986-89 Acura Integra with D16A1 DOHC 16-valve engines; 1988-91 Honda Civic Si/CRX Si with D16A6 SOHC 16-valve engines; 1992-95 Honda Civic VTEC/del Sol Si with D16Z6 SOHC 16-valve engines; and 1996-2000 Honda Civic models equipped with D16Y5, D16Y7, or D16Y8 SOHC 16-valve engines.
