Description

The STM Race Engine Oil Cooler Kit is designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for the Mitsubishi Evolution VII, VIII, and IX models from 2001-2006. The kit includes a custom-fabricated STM mounting bracket, laser-cut, TIG-welded, and powder-coated for durability. It comes complete with a large B&M oil cooler (11" W x 10" H x 1.5" D) and all necessary hardware for installation. The kit utilizes a 5-foot -8AN nylon-covered stainless braided hose designed to prevent scratching finishes, paired with low-profile 90° fittings for the oil cooler. Vibrant -8AN swivel fittings, -8AN to 1/2" NPT 90° fittings, and -8AN to M18 fittings are included, along with OEM Mitsubishi washers and stainless steel hardware. Installation Note: The fittings that thread into the oil cooler are pipe thread. Overtightening these fittings can cause breakage. If you are unfamiliar with pipe thread, professional installation is recommended. The B&M oil cooler (Part Number 70266) used in this kit was discontinued in February 2023.
