The MSD 89973 is a race ignition test tool designed for use by racing sanctioning bodies. This tool allows tech officials to easily plug into competitors' ignition units to verify rule compliance.

It is compatible with specific MSD ignition components, including the Circle Track LS Ignition Control PN 6014CT and the Power Grid Controller PN 7730 and 77303. A special version is also available for NHRA Tech Officials.
