Race Intake Camshaft for VW/Audi 1.8T 20V

The IE Race Intake Camshaft (IECVA1-2) is engineered specifically for VW/Audi 1.8T 20V engines (06A & 058). This high-performance camshaft is part of an aggressive cam set combination when paired with the IE Race Exhaust Camshaft (IECVA1-1) or Street/Race Exhaust Camshaft (IECVA2-1). It is designed for significant power gains in builds targeting the 500-850+ horsepower range, with an optimal powerband between 5500-8500+ RPM. The unique profile and centerline grind are intended to complement larger aftermarket turbochargers. Technical specifications include 274 degrees advertised duration, 224 degrees duration at 0.050", 0.370" lift, and a 108-degree CLA. Installation is facilitated by a pre-set cam sprocket and a factory-style timing mark, ensuring a process similar to stock camshaft installation. Due to the aggressive nature of this camshaft and its use in high-horsepower applications, upgrading to IE 1.8T 20V Valve Springs & Retainers is highly recommended.
