Constructed with TIG-welded bar-and-plate design and computer-modeled cast end tanks, this intercooler is built for durability and optimized airflow. It is proven to support builds exceeding 800 WHP and has demonstrated real-world Charge Air Temperature drops of up to 92 degrees.

The CVF Race Intercooler in black is a direct bolt-on upgrade engineered for EcoBoost owners pushing serious power, supporting builds exceeding 800 WHP. The intercooler boasts a massive 21" x 15" x 4" core, providing over 200% more volume than the stock unit for dramatically improved cooling capacity. Independent street testing has recorded Charge Air Temperature (CAC) drops of up to 92 degrees, helping the 2.3L EcoBoost maintain optimal power output under demanding conditions. The TIG-welded bar-and-plate construction ensures long-term durability, while enlarged inlet and outlet diameters enhance airflow on both the hot and cold sides of the system. While a direct bolt-on, pairing this intercooler with CVF charge pipes is recommended for the smoothest installation and maximum airflow, though OEM piping will fit with potentially tight couplers due to the larger intercooler connections. Installation requires the removal of the Active Grille Shutters (AGS), but this will not trigger a check engine light. The AGS can be reinstalled if the intercooler is later removed. Professional replacement is recommended for the safety of your hardware during removal and replacement. The CVF Race Intercooler is specifically designed to fit the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost models.
