The CV Fab CVF Race Intercooler is engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost models featuring the 2.3L turbocharged engine. This intercooler boasts over 200% more core volume than the stock unit, with a substantial core size of 21" x 15" x 4", and utilizes TIG-welded bar-and-plate construction for maximum durability. The advanced computer-aided design optimizes airflow while minimizing pressure loss, contributing to reduced charge air temperatures. Independent testing has shown reductions of up to 92 degrees Fahrenheit in Charge Air Temperature. While the intercooler is a direct fit and can use OEM piping, upgrading to the CVF Aluminum Intercooler Charge Pipe Kit is recommended. This is because the intercooler's inlet and outlet are 0.5 inches larger than stock, and the kit includes larger couplers for a smoother installation process. The CVF Race Intercooler is compatible with both automatic and manual transmission variants of the specified Mustang models. It is backed by a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.
