The RoadsterSport Race Muffler is a lightweight, single-tip exhaust system specifically designed for the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata NC. Intended for autocross and track use, this muffler offers a noticeable weight reduction, tipping the scales at only 7 pounds compared to the stock muffler's approximately 26 pounds, and even lighter than RoadsterSport's Dual exhaust at 19 pounds. Constructed from durable all-stainless steel, this exhaust system is built to last and is backed by a lifetime warranty. The manufacturer states that the sound level is well within SCCA guidelines, with a maximum recorded dB of 82 at an event, making it suitable for track use and potentially for daily drivers who prefer a sportier exhaust note. Installation is straightforward, utilizing stock hangers and requiring no complex modifications. The exhaust fits both models equipped with and without the factory appearance package.
