Its installation necessitates the use of appropriate tuning software, with Stage 2 software being strongly recommended to prevent the illumination of the check engine light (CEL). It is important to note that this part is made to order, and production lead times can extend up to 10 business days. Proper tuning is essential for the correct operation of the vehicle after installation, as the removal of the catalytic converter will trigger a CEL without it. CTS Turbo also suggests considering a High Flow Cat for environmental reasons, though this specific product is a race pipe. Compatibility is listed for the following Volkswagen models: Jetta MK6 (2014-2018), Jetta GLI MK6 (2014-2018), and Passat B7 (2014-2017).
