RACE SERIES ALUM BLOCK SBC

The Dart Race Series Aluminum Small Block Chevy Block is a high-performance engine block designed for Small Block Chevy engines. It features a durable aluminum construction and is available in standard (9.025") and tall deck (9.325" to 9.500") versions. Key features include raised camshaft positions (.391" or .434" option) and spread oil pan rails (.400" per side, .800" wider than stock) to accommodate stroker cranks. Siamesed cylinders allow for bore sizes of 4.000" or 4.125", safely bored to 4.185". The block incorporates ductile iron sleeves, extra thick walls, and relocated oil pan bolt holes. It supports main bearing bores for 350 (2.45") and 400 (2.65") bearings, and includes 4-bolt billet steel main caps with splayed outer bolts. Big block camshaft bearings and dual starter mounts are also integrated. The design includes front and rear external oil inlets, crossover, and restrictor provisions. Scalloped outer water jacket walls are engineered to improve coolant flow, ensuring optimal engine cooling. Coated cam bearings, freeze plugs, and dowels are supplied, and the blocks are available fully finish prepped.
