RACE SERIES ALUM BLOCK SBC

The Dart Race Series 31712213 Aluminum Chevy Small Block is a high-performance engine block with a 400 main, 9.025 deck height, 4.125 bore, and steel main caps. It features a raised camshaft position (.391") for stroker crank clearance and relocated oil pan rails (.400" per side wider than stock) for enhanced crank/rod clearance and reduced windage losses. The siamesed cylinders can be safely bored to 4.185" and include ductile iron sleeves. It supports displacements up to 455 cubic inches and is ideal for sprint cars, modifieds, late model stock cars, dragsters, and unlimited competition classes. Additional features include dual starter mounts and provisions for external oil inlets, crossovers, and restrictors.
