Show original supplier description
The ACL Race Series Bearing Set is engineered for high-performance applications, specifically for Toyota and Lexus 2JZ, 2JZGE, and 2JZGTE engines. This comprehensive kit includes the necessary main bearings (7M8103H), rod bearings (6B8100H), and thrust washers (2T8103) to rebuild or upgrade your engine's critical rotating assembly. Key features include a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties, hardened steel backs for enhanced support and retention, and increased crush for better seating. Further enhancing performance, the bearings eliminate flash plating on their backs to improve heat transfer and maximize grip with the housing. They also feature increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and to promote hydrodynamic oil film formation. The main bearings are 3/4 grooved to optimize load-carrying capacity and oil flow to the rod bearings, while tight wall tolerances ensure consistent clearances. Enlarged ID chamfers are included on bearing edges where necessary to accommodate large fillet radius performance crankshafts.
