The Integrated Engineering Race Series FDS Intercooler System is engineered to combat heat soak in the Audi B9/B9.5 SQ5, offering a substantial 280% volume increase over the stock intercooler. Its Innovative Flow Distribution System (FDS) utilizes precisely shaped fins to ensure airflow is evenly distributed across the entire intercooler core, leading to more effective heat dissipation and faster recovery. This design significantly reduces intake air temperatures (IATs), providing consistent performance gains during acceleration and long pulls. The system also includes a thick-gauge steel crash beam and reinforced casting mounts for durability and a precise fit. Each unit undergoes rigorous hand TIG welding, multi-point inspection, and leak-down testing to ensure quality and reliability out of the box. However, the iE Race Series FDS Intercooler System requires the separately sold iE Aluminum Charge Pipe Kit (IETPCK6) for installation, as it connects to the intercooler's larger 70mm inlet and outlet. The system is specifically tailored for the 3.0T SQ5 platform, measuring 19.4x16.3x4.5 inches, and is compatible with the 2017-2024 Audi SQ5 models (B9/B9.5 platform).
