The Integrated Engineering Race Series FDS Intercooler System (IETPCZ1) is engineered to combat heat soak in high-performance Audi B9/B9.5 SQ5 models. This intercooler boasts a market-leading size with a 280% greater volume than stock, specifically optimized for the 3.0T engine platform. Its dimensions measure 19.4x16.3x4.5 inches, setting a new standard for cooling power. A key feature is Integrated Engineering's FDS (Flow Distribution System), which uses precisely shaped internal fins to ensure airflow is distributed evenly across the entire intercooler core. This technology leads to more effective heat dissipation, faster recovery, and significantly reduced intake air temperatures (IATs), crucial for maintaining power during demanding driving conditions. The system also promotes increased airflow with a low-pressure drop, allowing the engine to breathe more freely. Constructed from aluminum and TIG welded by specialists, each intercooler undergoes rigorous testing to ensure quality and a leak-free seal. Installation is designed to be hassle-free and a bolt-in modification, though it requires the use of the iE Aluminum Charge Pipe Kit (sold separately) to connect to the intercooler's larger 70mm inlet and outlet.
