The MGW Race Spec Shifter is engineered for MT-82 equipped 2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT, Boss 302, and V6 models. It offers a no-compromises short-throw experience, suitable for both rigorous competition racing and daily street driving. The shifter utilizes billet strut arms for solid mounting to the transmission and a solid linkage rod, providing a direct and precise "top loader" shifting sensation. This updated design for 2016 is more compact, fitting within the car's oval cutout fully assembled, which can reduce installation time by at least 30 minutes. The Race Spec model offers various throw reduction options, with the X-SPEC model providing up to a 25% reduction compared to the stock shifter.
