The MGW Race Spec shifter is engineered to provide a superior shifting experience for MT-82 equipped Ford Mustangs. This shifter offers a no-compromises approach, excelling in the demanding conditions of competition racing while maintaining excellent street manners for daily drivers. Its construction features solid mounting to the transmission using billet strut arms and a solid linkage rod, delivering a true "top loader" feel with every shift. This design provides a significantly more direct and positive connection to the transmission. The shifter is available with two throw options: Standard and X-SPEC. The X-SPEC model offers up to a 25% reduction in shift throw compared to the stock shifter. Additionally, a Low Profile handle option can be selected with either the Standard or X-SPEC shifter for even greater throw reduction.
