This competition series bar addresses the challenges of securely attaching harnesses, which can be difficult and dangerous if done improperly. It offers a practical solution compared to expensive and permanent roll cages that limit a vehicle to track use only. Constructed from robust 12-gauge mandrel-bent steel tubing, the main hoop measures 1.25 inches, with 1-inch down bars. It features substantial 1/4-inch heavy-duty mounting plates for maximum strength and rigidity, potentially adding chassis reinforcement. Massive Speed has a proven track record with this design, accumulating hundreds of race days with reliable performance. The bar is compatible with any 4, 5, or 6-point wrap-around style harness and includes the Upgrade 2.0 Hardware kit for enhanced strength, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics. Installation is straightforward, typically taking less than 45 minutes with basic hand tools. It is not approved for sanctioned wheel-to-wheel racing classes (like SCCA) or NASA Spec Focus, which may mandate a roll cage. The product is made in the USA and features a premium thickness powder coating for durability, available in multiple colors. It also includes a prominent vinyl Massive logo.
