The King XPG Series Rod Bearings (CR4125XPG STDX) are engineered to combat premature bearing failure in high-output Subaru EJ-series boxer engines, including EJ15, EJ16, EJ18, EJ20, EJ22, and EJ25. To enhance oil flow and distribution, the King XPG bearings utilize oil holes instead of traditional oil slots. This modification ensures more consistent oil delivery within the groove. Additionally, the number three main bearings are fully grooved to provide 360° oiling to the number two and three rod bearings. A distinctive lug design eliminates conventional lug recesses, preventing oil escape and maintaining full oil pressure. Narrower bearing lengths are incorporated to accommodate high-radius cranks. Constructed with an enhanced tri-metal copper-lead material featuring a nickel barrier and SecureBond adhesion, these bearings offer a 20% higher load capacity and superior resistance to surface fatigue. The journal size is 52mm, and these are standard size bearings with extra oil clearance, often referred to as STDX. Applications include the 2006-2016 Subaru WRX and STI models. The set includes one set of King Bearings. The product is covered by the King Warranty. Note that this product has restrictions on international shipping and cannot be sold within California.
