Overview

The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat is a coolant thermostat designed for the 1997-2008 Chevrolet Corvette. It activates at a lower temperature of 160 F, compared to the standard 186 F, allowing coolant to flow through the system earlier. This results in cooler engine temperatures.

This thermostat significantly decreases high engine temperatures by opening at a lower temperature of 160 F, compared to the stock thermostat's 186 F. By allowing coolant to circulate through the engine sooner once it's fully warmed up, this upgrade helps to maintain cooler engine temperatures. This is beneficial for both daily driving and more demanding use, such as track or strip performance. This thermostat is designed as a direct fit for the 1997-2008 Chevrolet Corvette and comes with the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty. Installation difficulty is rated as easy.
