Rack and Pinion - Power 1964-67 GM A-Body

Bolt-in Rack & Pinion for 1964-67 Chevy A-Body (Chevelle/El Camino) to improve handling. Front steer, center take-off style rack mounted on a one-piece bracket that uses factory steering box and idler arm mounting holes. Replicates original center link. Clears Z-Bar and 4-Speed Linkage. Compatible with Small Block and Big Block motors. Works with stock manifolds. Super Comp Headers (Big Block) and Hooker Competition Headers (Small Block) have been used. Other headers may require modification. Note: Rack & Pinion on Bracket Only. Aftermarket heads with raised exhaust floors (1/4\"-1/2\") may reduce clearance. For Big Block El Caminos (1964-67). Big Block Mark V/VI designs (10.2\" deck height) may require header modification due to 0.4\" difference from Mark IV (9.8\" deck height).
