Rack and Pinion - Power 57-59 Ford - 289-351

Upgrade your classic Ford’s steering with Unisteer’s bolt-in rack & pinion system for a superior steering experience! Engineered to match the stock suspension of these classic cars! This rear-steer, center take-off style rack and pinion features a ball center bar that exactly matches the center link of the stock suspension for '57-'59 Fords. The rack & pinion comes mounted to a one-piece mounting bracket that bolts up to the frame using the same holes that held the steering box and idler arm. This kit is designed for use with Windsor Small Block Motors (289, 302, and 351). It has been installed on vehicles with stock manifolds. Other Headers may work but might require modification or another u-joint in the column linkage. Note: This kit will not work with the factory column shifter, but it will work with an aftermarket column shifter. Not compatible with trucks.
