The AFCO Aluminum Black Radiator (MPN: 80172-B-NA-N) is a high-performance cooling solution specifically engineered for the classic 1940 Ford car when equipped with a Chevy engine. This radiator ensures consistent power delivery by maintaining optimal engine temperatures. Its robust construction features 100% all-aluminum, eliminating the use of epoxy for superior heat transfer. The core is furnace-brazed with two rows of 1.25-inch tubes, and the tanks are meticulously crafted from durable .080” 3003 aluminum. Each unit is TIG welded by skilled craftsmen in the USA and rigorously factory pressure-tested for reliability. The filler necks incorporate a screw-in bleed design, preventing common issues like cracks and leaks over time. Furthermore, the side brackets are reversible, providing versatile mounting options either fore or aft of the core support to accommodate various engine bay configurations.
