The Cobra RAD 480i Radar Detector offers long-range detection with digital signal processing (DSP) for rapid and accurate alerts against all radar and laser guns. It features 2nd Generation False Alert Filtering to reduce false alerts from blind spot monitoring and other radar-based systems. It connects to the Drive Smarter® community via Bluetooth, allowing users to share and receive real-time radar and laser alerts. The device also provides access to speed-based sensitivity and a Defender Database of red light and speed cameras. It has a monochromatic OLED display for clear visibility of radar bands, strength, and frequency, and its firmware is updateable for improved performance.
