The FURUNO DRS6AX/4 is a 6kW, 96 n.m., UHD Digital Radar designed for seamless integration with NavNet TZtouch, TZtouch2, and TZtouch3 series, and is also compatible with TZtouchXL, TZtouchE, and the FR10/FR12 Radar Series. It features a newly redesigned pedestal unit that is 20% lighter than previous models and incorporates an updated motor for significantly lower noise levels, simplifying installation and maintenance with its smart-connector cable. Key features include Fast Target Tracking™, adopted from commercial Radar FAR3000, which instantly displays target course and speed vectors to enhance situational awareness and safety. The X-Class Radar also offers a specialized Bird Mode, allowing for distinct and automatic separation of bird echoes from nearby vessels. This feature, especially when combined with Echo Trails, allows users to discern the movements of individual birds, aiding in the identification of fish flocks. This X-Class Radar pushes the boundaries of conventional radar technology with improved short-range detection and an impressive long-range detection capability of up to 96 nautical miles.
