This kit is designed to save 8 unsprung pounds from the front of the vehicle compared to OEM brakes. Every component is built to withstand the heat of track sessions and integrates seamlessly with the OEM master cylinder and ABS system.

The Radi-CAL design offers a massive stiffness increase, a considerable mass reduction, optimized airflow for superior heat evacuation, and efficient packaging. The calipers are compatible with a wide range of racing brake pads due to their common shape.

The Essex Designed AP Racing Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kit is a complete front brake upgrade for the BMW e90 3 Series (non-M) from 2007-2011. This kit features AP Racing CP9668 Radi-CAL Pro5000R six-piston calipers paired with 372x34mm, 84-vane AP Racing discs, offering a substantial improvement over stock braking systems. The Radi-CAL caliper design provides a significant advantage with a 30+% increase in stiffness, leading to superior pedal feel, modulation, and more even pad wear. Despite enhanced stiffness, the design also achieves considerable mass reduction. Optimized airflow through and around the caliper ensures superior heat evacuation, crucial for track use. The efficient packaging, with an asymmetric caliper profile and internal fluid porting, allows for fitment into tighter spaces. The brake pads used are in a commonly available shape, ensuring that replacements are readily accessible from various manufacturers in virtually any racing compound.
