Description

This heat shield is constructed from a durable metalized polyimide laminated glass cloth, combined with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for extreme temperature fluctuations. Its material properties allow it to withstand continuous temperatures of up to 800°F and resist radiant heat up to 850°F. The tape measures 0.0065 inches thick and is designed to be lightweight and easy to apply, ensuring it stays in place without lifting. It also offers resistance to UV degradation for extended durability. The adhesive backing is rated to handle temperatures up to 325°F, providing reliable performance in demanding environments. This tape is ideal for applications on firewalls, bulkheads, engine covers, floors, and seat bottoms, offering protection wherever heat management is crucial. Important installation note: This product is not intended for direct application onto exhaust components.
