Clevite BiMetal engine bearings feature a 100% lead free aluminum-silicon bi-metal material with 60% more silicon for better conditioning of journal surfaces. They offer greater wear and seizure resistance than leading competitor's bi-metal material, and feature 100% bored ID's for precision. Where appropriate, straight shell main bearings utilize an 'umbrella' groove for superior oil control and improved pressure. These bearings are a very good choice for stock replacement parts on engines that have bi-metal bearings from the factory.
