This part is manufactured in Germany to BMW's stringent standards, ensuring the same quality as the original equipment. Radiators typically fail when end tanks crack, causing leaks, or when fins become clogged with debris, hindering heat dissipation and potentially causing overheating. Symptoms of radiator failure include overheating, coolant leaks, cracked tanks, bent fins, or clogged fins. This Genuine BMW radiator is compatible with a wide range of BMW E46 and Z4 models, including various 323i, 323Ci, 325i, 325Ci, 325xi, 328i, 328Ci, 330i, 330Ci, 330xi, and Z4 variants from 1999 to 2008. However, specific notes indicate that some Mahle Behr OE replacement versions may not include a provision for the proprietary drain petcock baffle assembly and may not work for E46 328i models with manual transmissions. It is recommended to inspect and potentially replace the upper and lower radiator hoses at the same time as the radiator. When ordering, note that core charges may apply to parts with reusable components, with a refund issued upon return of the used unit. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
