The 16 psi version is recommended for most cars running at least 30% antifreeze, while the 20 psi version is for systems running more water to raise the boiling point.

It features a silicone seal for extended lifespan and an anodized finish with a laser-engraved logo, ensuring it looks as good as it performs. This cap is available in two pressure ratings: 16 psi and 20 psi. The choice between 16 psi and 20 psi depends on your coolant mixture. For systems using at least 30% antifreeze, the 16 psi cap is generally suitable. If your system primarily uses water, the 20 psi cap can help raise the boiling point. However, it's important to note that higher pressure can increase the likelihood of leaks. If your cooling system is in good condition, the 20 psi cap should be fine, but if it has pre-existing issues, the higher pressure might exacerbate them. This radiator cap is designed to fit a wide range of Miata models, including 1990-1997, 1999-2005, 2004-2005 MSM, 2006-2015, 2007-2015 PRHT, 2016-2025, and 2017-2025 RF.
