Overview

The Genuine BMW Radio Auxiliary Input Kit is a wiring kit designed for earlier E60 5 Series and E63 6 Series models. This kit allows for the connection of external audio devices via a 1/8" (3.5mm) universal stereo auxiliary input cable. The wiring plugs into the back of the E60/E63 radio, with the input jack routed to the glove box or center console.

The Genuine BMW Radio Auxiliary Input Kit (part number 65120153502) enables audio connectivity for compatible BMW E60 and E63 models. This kit allows you to connect virtually any audio device, such as an MP3 player or smartphone, using a standard 3.5mm auxiliary input cable. The wiring harness plugs directly into the rear of your E60 or E63 radio, providing a discreet installation point for the auxiliary jack, typically in the glove box or center console. This kit is specifically designed for the 2004, 2005, and 2006 model years of the E60 5 Series and E63 6 Series. **Important Note:** For 2006 models, this kit is ONLY compatible with vehicles produced up to March 2006. Please verify your vehicle's production date, which can be found on the VIN placard in the driver's side door jamb. Installation may require the "Aux" input option to be activated by a BMW dealer through coding. For assistance or to confirm fitment, contacting a BMW expert is recommended.
