The PAC Radio RP5-GM31 is a radio replacement and SWC interface designed for select GM LAN vehicles with a 29-bit data-bus. It retains essential factory features such as OnStar, Bose amplifier, and steering wheel controls. The interface also provides navigation output signals and retains factory Bluetooth on 2009+ model vehicles.

Key features include retention of rear seat audio controls, factory satellite radio with text display, and all warning chimes with an included module. It also maintains compatibility with backup sensors, park assist, and factory cameras. The RP5-GM31 is compatible with non-amplified audio systems and offers dual-zone function with chime volume adjustment.

The PAC Radio RP5-GM31 is an all-in-one radio replacement and SWC interface engineered for select General Motors vehicles utilizing a 29-bit LAN radio system. This innovative interface is pre-programmed to retain crucial factory functions when installing an aftermarket head unit, saving installation time and cost. Key features include the retention of OnStar® services, original steering wheel controls, and factory Bluetooth functionality (for 2009+ model vehicles). It also preserves rear seat audio controls, factory satellite radio with text displayed in the Driver Information Center, and all warning chimes, with a chime module included for seamless integration. The RP5-GM31 supports retention of backup sensors, park assist, and factory cameras. Further enhancing its utility, this interface retains factory Bose and premium Bose audio systems, though the Y91 digital system may not support fading from an aftermarket radio. It is compatible with non-amplified audio systems and offers dual-zone function and chime volume adjustment. Additionally, it provides essential navigation output signals, retained accessory power (RAP), reverse wire output, VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense) output, illumination output, and parking brake output, along with an included antenna adapter.
