It facilitates the installation of aftermarket radios while retaining certain factory features. This interface supports both amplified and non-amplified systems and provides a Vehicle Speed Sense (VSS) output, as well as a reverse trigger.

The Crux SOOCR-26 is a radio replacement interface module that allows for the installation of an aftermarket stereo system in compatible Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. It provides essential outputs such as Vehicle Speed Sense (VSS) for proper navigation and accessory function, as well as a reverse trigger for backup camera integration. Key features include support for all Chrysler CAN-Bus vehicles, a reverse trigger output, and illumination output. However, it is important to note that this interface *does not retain* steering wheel controls. The interface includes two harnesses for compatibility with older and newer model vehicles within its application range. Compatibility is specified for a range of Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep models. For example, it fits Chrysler Sebring (2007-2010), Town & Country (2008-2016), Dodge Avenger (2007-2014), and Caliber (2007-2012). Other compatible vehicles include the 2004 Dodge Durango, 2005-2010 Chrysler 300, 2005-2009 Aspen, 2006-2010 PT Cruiser, 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler, and 2008-2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. It is designed for select 2004-2015 and potentially up to 2018 vehicles from these brands.
