The Metra 70-1763 is a radio wiring harness engineered to streamline the installation of an aftermarket stereo by utilizing your vehicle's existing factory wiring. This plug-and-play solution connects directly into the factory radio connectors, eliminating the need to cut into the original vehicle harness and preserving the integrity of the factory electrical system. The harness features 13 color-coded wires, simplifying the identification and connection of power, ground, and speaker leads to your new head unit. This design allows for a clean, reliable installation that matches the factory configuration. This wiring harness is specifically compatible with Nissan and Infiniti models produced between 1984 and 1996. Please note that for some installations, the ground wire from your aftermarket radio may need to be manually connected to a reliable chassis ground point to ensure proper operation. This harness is not compatible with factory-amplified audio systems.
