The Radium Engineering FHST (fuel hanger surge tank) is designed to eliminate fuel starvation issues common when a vehicle is driven aggressively. It functions as a fully contained fuel surge tank within the OEM fuel tank. The system can be configured with 1, 2, or 3 high-pressure pumps to feed the engine and 1 lift pump to keep the surge tank full, supporting various engine power levels. Installation is straightforward, requiring no grinding, bending, or modification of the vehicle. It is also compatible with alternative fuels like E85. The surge tank is a collector box attached to the underside of the plate, ensuring a steady fuel supply to the engine under all driving conditions. The lift pump scavenges fuel from the bottom of the tank, and fuel returning from the regulator is also routed into the surge tank.
