Overview

The JLT Ram Air Intake is a cold air intake system designed for the 2003-2004 SVT Cobra Mustang. It features a roto-molded ABS plastic tube for resistance to engine heat and a vacuum-formed ABS heat shield to block engine heat.

The kit includes the JLT plastic intake tube, silicone coupler, silicone reducer, ABS heat shield, a 4x9 S&B powerstack air filter, MAF adapter, gasket, clamps, and all necessary hardware. It utilizes the stock 90mm mass air meter.

The JLT Ram Air Intake is engineered for the 2003-2004 SVT Cobra Mustang, offering a performance upgrade for the air intake system. Constructed with a 4 1/4" ID roto-molded ABS plastic tube, it is designed to withstand engine heat and maintain a cool intake air charge. The accompanying ABS heat shield is vacuum-formed and intended to block engine heat effectively, especially at low speeds and idle. This kit includes all necessary components for installation: the JLT plastic intake tube, silicone coupler and reducer, ABS heat shield, a 4x9 S&B powerstack air filter, MAF adapter with gasket, and heavy-duty clamps. It is designed to integrate with the stock 90mm mass air meter. Installation is described as easy, with detailed instructions and online video resources available. Typical gains reported are between 18-26 average RWHP over stock. However, it is crucial to note that this product is intended for closed-course competition use only and is not legal for street use. The sale, use, or installation may be illegal nationwide under the Federal Clean Air Act. Additionally, this intake will not fit with most strut tower braces. Proper maintenance of the air filter is recommended using the S&B Precision Cleaning & Oiling Kit.
