The Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Ram Air Extractor Hood is engineered to unlock performance gains and provide a bold aesthetic for your truck. Its aerodynamic design actively draws in cold air, feeding it directly to your engine's intake for improved combustion, potentially leading to slight increases in horsepower and fuel economy. Beyond performance, this hood also aids in heat extraction, allowing the engine bay to cool down faster after driving. Constructed from hand-laid fiberglass, it is built to withstand impacts and road debris. The unit comes with a grey gel coating for minor corrosion resistance and is unpainted, ready for a custom color match. Installation is designed as a direct bolt-on, though some minor preparation, such as filling and sanding, may be necessary. This Ram Air Extractor Hood is compatible with all 2015-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD models. However, 2017-2019 models with the LP5 engine will require additional modification to the radiator shroud to accommodate the hood's extra clearance.
