Overview

The RKSport Ram Air Fiberglass Hood is a custom-designed body panel for Dodge Ram 1500 models from 2019-2026. It features a race-inspired design with a functional ram-air scoop that can deliver cool, dense air to the factory air box for improved performance and fuel economy when connected to a cold air intake system.

Constructed from fiberglass with a gel-coated gray, unpainted finish, this hood is made in the USA. It installs using the hardware from the stock hood, but professional installation is recommended due to the typical need for sanding, trimming, and filling prior to painting.

Show original supplier description

The RKSport Ram Air Fiberglass Hood is engineered to enhance the aesthetics and performance of your 2019-2026 Dodge Ram 1500. Designed with a race-inspired philosophy, this hood features a functional ram-air scoop and heat extraction vents. When integrated with a cold air intake system, the ram-air scoop can channel cool, dense air directly to the factory air box, potentially leading to increased power and better fuel economy. Constructed from durable fiberglass and finished with a gray gel coat, this hood is sold unpainted and ready for custom color matching. It is a single-piece design, custom-tailored for each specific application to ensure a sleek, low-profile look that complements the vehicle's lines. RKSport prides itself on manufacturing its products in the USA, drawing on years of racing success to inform their designs. Installation utilizes the factory hardware from the stock hood for a direct fit. However, as with most aftermarket fiberglass body panels, professional installation is recommended. The process typically involves sanding, trimming, and filling to achieve a seamless finish before painting. RKSport hoods come with no manufacturer warranty. The product is subject to California Proposition 65 warnings regarding cancer and reproductive harm.
