The Duraflex Ram Air Hood is a direct-fit body panel crafted from a unique blend of fiberglass, plastic, and flex resins, known as DURAFLEX technology. Designed with a Ram Air style, this hood aims to improve aerodynamics and give your vehicle a more aggressive stance. Its construction from FRP materials offers a significant cost advantage, being roughly half the price of comparable polyurethane components. This hood is specifically designed to fit the 2000-2006 Chevrolet Suburban and 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado models. It's important to note that all Duraflex aerodynamic products require professional installation. While the difficulty level is rated as 'Level 2' (Easy), professional fitting is strongly recommended to ensure proper alignment and integration. Additionally, the use of hood pins is recommended with all Duraflex hoods for added security.
